When you’re planning a wedding for 100 to 300 guests in Carrollton, you need a venue that can handle your guest count comfortably without feeling too large or too cramped. We understand that the sweet spot matters. You want your closest friends and family to feel welcomed, not lost in a ballroom built for 500 or squeezed into a space meant for 80.
At Dallas Palms Venue Event Center, we’ve built our three ballrooms and three gardens specifically to serve this guest count range. Each space offers something different, so you can choose what fits your vision and your headcount.
The Right Space for Your Guest Count
We’ve designed our venue with three distinct ballroom and garden combinations, each sized for different guest counts within the 100 to 300 range. You can book a ballroom on its own or pair it with the matching garden for ceremony and cocktail space. Here’s how each space works for your headcount.
Malibu Ballroom and Garden for Intimate Celebrations
If you’re planning a more intimate celebration, Malibu Ballroom seats up to 120 guests for a reception or ceremony. The space features two staircases and a central chandelier that creates drama without overwhelming the room.
The Malibu Garden is an oasis setting with a ceremony arch, water feature, and a string light ceiling that transforms the space when the sun sets. It accommodates up to 120 guests and pairs beautifully with the ballroom for a ceremony-to-reception flow.
Melrose Ballroom and Garden for Mid-Range Guest Counts
Melrose Ballroom is where many of our couples land when they’re right in that middle range. The space seats up to 170 guests for receptions and ceremonies. A central staircase gives you a focal point for your entrance, and the ballroom opens directly to a covered patio and garden so your guests can move between indoor and outdoor spaces easily.
The Melrose Garden holds up to 170 guests. Two pergolas with string lights create natural gathering spots, and the setup works beautifully for cocktail hours or garden ceremonies before moving inside for dinner.
Bel Air Ballroom and Garden for Larger Celebrations
For weddings at the upper end of your range, Bel Air Ballroom is our largest space. It seats up to 500 guests inside with rounds and chairs. Mezzanines on both sides of the ballroom give the room architectural interest and provide elevated views for photos.
The Bel Air Garden spans approximately 10,000 square feet. An upper ceremony space with an arbor and water feature gives you a ceremony backdrop, while the lower-level turf includes a waterfall and a lounge area for guests who want a quieter moment during the reception.
What Comes with Your Venue Rental
Each ballroom rental includes facility use time, and you get spacious bridal and groom suites with access before the event. We also include a rehearsal a day or two before your wedding.
Full-service staff handles day of coordination, setup, teardown, and cleaning during and after your event. Uplighting and ambience lighting are included with your room rental, so you don’t need to source those separately. Security is provided and included in our packages.

Our in-house kitchen prepares buffet or plated meals across multiple cuisines, and we accommodate vegetarian, vegan, and dietary needs. We offer florals, centerpieces, and sweetheart and cake table décor. Custom décor can be pulled from our venue inventory or coordinated with your outside vendors to match your mood board. Screen and projector, microphones, sound system, and live streaming equipment are available.
Prefer to bring your own caterer? Dallas Palms has an open catering policy, and outside caterers are welcome. Clients are also welcome to furnish their own alcohol, and Dallas Palms provides the bartender and security. When clients bring their own food, cutleries and waitstaff are available for an additional charge.
Cultural Expertise Across Communities
We work with couples from American, Nigerian, Middle Eastern, Vietnamese, South Asian, Nepalese, and Hispanic backgrounds, among others. Whether you’re planning a traditional American wedding, Nepali wedding ceremonies, Indian and Pakistani wedding celebrations, Desi family gatherings, Hispanic weddings and cultural festivals, or Nigerian events and community functions, our team understands the flow of your traditions and the elements that matter most to your family.
Parking and Guest Logistics
We have ample free parking on site, with valet service available on request, so guests arrive relaxed and ready to celebrate. For out-of-town guests, there are several hotels located within a few miles of our Carrollton venue that offer convenient accommodation options.
