How to Host a Corporate Dinner or Company Celebration at Dallas Palms Venue in Carrollton

corporate event

Most corporate dinners start with two questions. How many people are coming, and what do you want them to feel when they walk in? We have hosted enough company celebrations here to know the answers shape everything else, from the room you book to the way dinner is served. Here is how we would think it through with you.

To host a corporate dinner in Carrollton, start by choosing a ballroom based on guest count, seating from 120 to 500. Add a garden for an outdoor welcome hour. Packages include tables, chairs, linens, lighting, and staff. In-house catering offers varied menus, with outside food and alcohol permitted, plus AV, free parking, and hotel options.

Planning a Corporate Dinner at Our Carrollton Event Venue

Dallas Palms sits on 6.5 acres of landscaped grounds at 2424 Marsh Ln in Carrollton, with three ballrooms, three gardens, and a team that handles setup, service, and cleanup. Company dinners are a regular booking for us, and they tend to run smoothly for one simple reason. As a corporate event venue in Carrollton with an in-house kitchen, décor inventory, and staff, we give you choices to make instead of vendors to chase across town.

Start with your guest count

Your headcount picks your room. The Bel Air Ballroom is our largest, with mezzanines on both sides and seated capacity from 250 to 500 guests at rounds. The Melrose Ballroom seats up to 170 and has a central staircase that opens to a covered patio and garden. The Malibu Ballroom seats up to 120 under a central chandelier, with a staircase on each side. If your number sits between two rooms, we would rather walk you through both on a tour than guess.

Move the welcome hour outside

A dinner feels warmer when the evening starts somewhere else. Our gardens can be booked with the matching ballroom or on their own. Bel Air Garden runs about 10,000 square feet, with an arbor and water feature on the upper level and a waterfall, turf, and a lounge with a fire pit below. Melrose Garden is about 5,000 square feet with two pergolas under string lights. Malibu Garden is about 4,000 square feet, with an arch, a water feature, and a string light ceiling overhead.

What comes with your booking

Our corporate packages come in Silver, Gold, and Platinum, and each one covers the details nobody wants to handle on the day. Tables, modern Chiavari chairs, linens in black, ivory, or white, overlays and napkins in your color, glassware, a photo easel, and the setup of the main table, signature table, cake table, and buffet. Colored uplighting is included. So are waiters at the buffet, cake cutting, a fruit table, security, and cleaning during and after the event. Ballroom bookings are built around a four-hour rental with sixty-inch round tables and a room attendant. Décor comes from our own team and inventory, or we source it to your mood board, so your colors and branding carry through the room. Interest-free payment plans are available.

Food for a room full of different tastes

Our kitchen is in-house; dinner is usually served buffet, and plated service is available. Menus range from Tex-Mex Traditional and Taste of Italy to Texas Traditions, Mediterranean, and Pacific Rim, with vegetarian, vegan, and dietary needs planned in from the start. We cook across cultures every week, from Nepali weddings and cultural events, Indian and Pakistani wedding ceremonies and celebrations, and Desi family gatherings and social events to Hispanic weddings, parties, and cultural festivals, Nigerian events, ceremonies, and community functions, and American multicultural events, corporate gatherings, and private parties. There are no food and beverage minimums. Outside catering is allowed, and when you bring your own food, we can provide the cutlery and waitstaff for a charge. You are welcome to furnish your own alcohol, and we will provide the bartender and security.

Speeches, screens, and lighting

Almost every company dinner has a program, even a short one. We have a screen and projector, microphones, a sound system, and live streaming for the people who cannot be in the room. Uplighting and ambience lighting come with your room rental, so the mood can shift from welcome drinks to closing remarks to the dance floor without hiring a lighting crew.

Parking and guests coming from out of town

Parking is one less thing to email about. We have roughly 300 free spots on site, with valet available on request. For colleagues flying in, we work with partner hotels in Addison and Farmers Branch, roughly three to twelve miles away, and shuttle service can be arranged on request.

Come see the room before you commit

A strong company dinner does not need to be complicated. It needs a room that fits, food people mention the next morning, and a team watching the clock so you do not have to. Walk the empty ballrooms, stand near the waterfall in Bel Air Garden, and picture your group in the space. Then tell us the date.
