Planning a Nepali wedding takes more than finding a large room and hoping the caterer shows up on time. It takes a team that understands how these celebrations are layered, how one ceremony flows into the next, and how much it matters that every guest feels the weight of the occasion. At Dallas Palms, we’ve hosted Nepali weddings and cultural events alongside Indian and Pakistani wedding ceremonies and celebrations, Desi family gatherings and social events, Hispanic weddings, parties, and cultural festivals, Nigerian events, ceremonies, and community functions, and American multicultural events, corporate gatherings, and private parties. We know what a full celebration day looks like, and we know how to hold it together from start to finish.
What Makes Carrollton the Right City for Your Nepali Celebration
Carrollton sits at the center of the DFW corridor, which makes it genuinely convenient for families traveling from across North Texas and beyond. Our venue at 2424 Marsh Lane sits on 6.5 acres of landscaped grounds with roughly 300 free parking spots onsite, plus valet available on request. When your family is arriving from multiple directions, that kind of access matters more than people realize.
We also understand that Nepali weddings are rarely one-day events. Pre-wedding rituals, the main ceremony, and the reception often stretch across multiple gatherings, and our team has the experience to support each one with the right setup, staffing, and flow.
Choosing the Right Space for Your Guest Count
Dallas Palms has three distinct ballrooms, each with its own character.
The Bel Air Ballroom is our largest, with mezzanines on both sides and capacity for up to 500 seated guests. The adjacent Bel Air Garden adds another 250 to 300 guests with an upper ceremony area, a water feature, and a lower turf level with a waterfall and fire pit lounge. For large Nepali weddings with extended family attendance, this combination covers everything in one location.
The Melrose Ballroom seats up to 170 guests and opens directly onto a covered patio and garden with two pergolas and string lights. A central staircase runs through the space, which photographs well during any part of the day. The Malibu Ballroom, with its twin staircases and central chandelier, seats up to 120 and connects to a garden with a ceremony arch and string light ceiling. Both spaces work well for more intimate Nepali family gatherings or pre-wedding events.
Catering That Reflects Your Menu, Not Ours
We have an in-house kitchen and our own catering team, but we also allow outside catering, which is especially meaningful for families who want a traditional Nepali menu prepared by someone who knows the cuisine. If you bring your own food, we provide cutlery and waitstaff for a charge. Clients can also furnish their own alcohol, and Dallas Palms provides the bartender and security.

Our in-house menus span Gold, Platinum, and Diamond tiers with vegetarian, vegan, and dietary options built in. We also offer themed buffet packages, including a Mediterranean spread and a Pacific Rim buffet, that pair well with South Asian celebration aesthetics. Food tastings are offered regularly.
What Comes With Your Booking
Every ballroom rental includes round tables with Chiavari chairs, linens in black, ivory, or white, buffet tables, a room attendant, two-hour access to bridal and groom suites before the event, a one-hour rehearsal, and a décor consultation. Set up, teardown, and cleaning during and after the event are handled by our team.
We also have AV equipment, including screens, projectors, microphones, a sound system, and live streaming support, plus uplighting and ambience lighting included with the room.
Planning Support From a Team That Gets It
Our planning team has worked with families celebrating across cultures, and we approach Nepali events with the same attention we bring to every celebration we host. We coordinate vendor arrivals, manage timelines, and stay available through every phase of the day. Hotel partners within a few miles of the venue include the Courtyard Marriott Addison and the Hilton Garden Inn Addison, both offering discounted room blocks for guests.
