Can You Picture Dinner Under Melrose Garden Pergola Lights in Carrollton

Wedding Venue

People ask us all the time what makes Dallas Palms different. It’s the string lights swaying in the breeze. It’s watching your family laugh under lit pergolas while dinner is served. It’s outdoor, but covered. Open air, but cozy.

If you’re planning a wedding reception, corporate event, or cultural celebration, the Melrose Garden setup might be exactly what you’re looking for.

What You Get When You Book Melrose Garden

Melrose Garden sits on our 6.5-acre property in Carrollton. The 5,000-square-foot space holds up to 160 guests. Two pergolas with string lights give you that golden hour glow even after dark.

The garden connects to the Melrose Ballroom through a covered patio. For ceremony and reception combos, you can seat 250 for the ceremony using both spaces, then switch to 170 inside or 160 in the garden for dinner. No shuttling guests across town.

How the Pergolas Work

Each pergola creates a natural focal point. Some couples use one for the bar and one for lounge seating near our fire pit. Others position buffet stations under both for a smooth guest flow. The twin pergolas can frame your dance floor or stage without blocking views.

The string lights are included with your rental. They’re built into the structure, so setup is quick, and the look is consistent every time.

Food Options

Our kitchen handles all catering, buffet, or plated. Menus include vegetarian, vegan, and dietary accommodations.

Gold includes two appetizers (veggie samosas, meatballs), salad, one entrée (grilled chicken with roasted red pepper and mushroom sauces), and two sides (loaded mashed potatoes, green beans almondine).

Platinum adds slow-smoked brisket and citrus-glazed salmon.

Diamond brings herb-crusted sirloin and prime rib with upgraded sides.

Themed buffets include Tex-Mex Traditional, Taste of Italy, Texas Traditions, Mediterranean, and Pacific Rim. Late-night stations cover chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, or biscuits and gravy.

Full-service staff handle everything. Day-of coordination is included.

Why This Works

Outdoor feel with infrastructure already there. The pergolas give structure. String lights handle ambience. The covered patio gives you weather backup without renting a tent.
